Weekly Update - Friday, November 3, 2023
Good morning Elbow Park School Community. What a big week here at the school! Halloween sure played a big role in our students’ lives. We managed to celebrate that event while keeping our eye on our central purpose – learning.
We have a bit of an atypical week ahead. The following information is provided so that you and your family are up-to-date.

Please attend to the payment of your School Fees and registration of your children in lunchroom.
Upcoming Events
November 8 @ 10:00 - Remembrance Day Assembly - parents and community members are welcome to join us. Students are invited to bring in non-perishable food items for Veterans Food Bank. Students who have joined Brownies, Guides, Cubs or Scouts are welcome to wear their uniforms as a part of our assembly.
November 9 - Professional Development Day -no school for students. Our teachers will be working with others teachers across the city to further our understandings of Indigenous Education. We will be bringing our new learnings to the classroom in our work with students.
November 10-14 - Fall break - schools are closed
November 15 - classes resume
November 20 - 6:00am - Conference Manager opens to book Learning Conferences. A link for on-line booking will be sent to parents on Sunday.
November 20 - Gr 1/2 - off-site at Telus Spark
November 22 @ 6:30 pm - Parent Council meetings - all parents are welcome to join us. Details below
November 23, 4:00-8:00pm - Learning Conferences
November 24, 9:00-12:00 - (no school for students) - Learning Conferences
School Council Meeting
Our next School Council meeting will be November 22, 6:30-8:00. Please hold the date and plan on joining us in person or on-line. Mr. Campbell and Mrs. Warburton will be sharing our Provincial Achievement Test results as well as our School Development Plan. Other reports and information will be provided as well as opportunities for questions and input.
