Good afternoon Elbow Park School families. It's a bit hard to believe, but we are already in December! It's a bit hard to believe that it's even winter, given the nice weather.

Volunteers at Elbow Park School
We appreciate the many people who offer their time to support student learning at Elbow Park School. There are a couple requests for volunteers that will be coming through your room parents soon. These requests are for volunteers to help out with:
- Learning Commons
- Winter Celebration Concert
- Skip the Depot fundraiser

Please watch for these opportunities through your room parent emails and consider if you are able to help us out.

Winter Concert
Are you as excited as we are for our upcoming concerts?  Our Winter Celebration concert - Up on the House Top, will be offered in two shows:

Dec 13 - 6:00pm - this is a ticketed show (2 tickets per student)
Dec 14 - 10:00am - this is a non-ticketed show (we are hoping to reduce the demand on the evening show by offering this day-time performance) (note - this is not a dress-rehearsal - it is the same, full show as Dec 13)

We may need some support from parents for preparing costumes and props. Please watch for an email for your Room Parent for more details.

Dec 4-7 - Rocks and Rings Curling residency - in Physical Education classes
Dec 13 @ 6:00pm - Winter Celebration Concert - evening performance (ticketed)
Dec 14 @ 10:00am - Winter Celebration Concert - day performance (non-ticketed)
Dec 22 - Last Day of school before Winter break
