Principal’s Message

We had a fun-filled week with both our Fall Fair last night and our Terry Fox run this morning. The weather held out and both events were a success. Thank you so much to all of the parent volunteers that made the Fair happen. It was also great so to see some parents join us for the Run this morning.  Our Grade 6 students were great buddies for the kindergartners, keeping them on track, and a special thank you to the many Grade 6 students who planned and supported our assembly!

We continue to take donations for the Terry Fox Foundation, either in cash or online: https://schools.terryfox.ca/136648

Our goal is to beat the $1300 raised last year and we are on track to do so with $500 already collected!

School Council and EPPS Parent Society Meeting

·         Our first School Council meeting will be held this coming Thursday, Sept. 17 from 1:30-3:00 p.m.

·         The meeting will be held in-person in our Learning Commons. We will have the Principal’s report and meeting available to viewed online through MS Teams for those who cannot attend in-person.

·         This meeting does have a formal agenda that includes executive reports, a Principal’s report, and items submitted to the Chairs for the agenda prior to the meeting. The meetings will highlight:

o        Elect members to Council

o        Enrolment & staffing updates

o        Literacy & Numeracy Assessments

o        Final budget approval for this school year

·         This meeting is open to all Elbow Park School parents / guardians
