First Day of Classes
Our first day of classes for Grades 1-6 is Tuesday, September 2, 2025 (8:15 AM - 3:10 PM)
Our Kindergarten students will be following a staggered first-day entry schedule:
- Tuesday, September 2, 2025: Student surnames A-L (8:15 AM - 10:50 AM)
- Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025: Student surnames M-Z (8:15 AM - 10:50 AM)
The school office is open to parents on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 with hours between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Assigned Teachers
On Thursday, August 28, 2025, after 4:00 PM, homeroom teachers will email families to let them know whose class their child has been assigned to. This email will include:
- a meeting place outside on the first day of school, Tuesday, September 2, 2025
- please join us at 7:45 AM for a coffee and a muffin at our "Muffin Mixer." This is a great way to meet new families or reconnect after the holidays.

Kindergarten plays an important role in engaging young children as active participants, building knowledge about themselves and the social and natural words.
Lunch Supervision
In order to eat lunch at school in our lunchroom program, all students must be registered. We do offer a school-based 4-day noon supervision program to our Grades 1-6 students. Hot water and microwaves are not accessible for students.

Transportation
Parking
Please note that our parking lots are NOT available for student drop-off for safety reasons and traffic congestion. We strongly encourage students to walk or bike/scooter to school.

School Supplies
Supplies are purchased by the school. Please ensure your child has a pair of indoor runners, a lunch bag (if you are part of the Lunch Supervision program) and a backpack that is large enough to hold a library book, lunch bag and winter accessories.
Indoor shoes are brought to school the first day of school and left at school. Many backpacks and shoes look alike; please label all student possessions.

Digital technologies are transforming how we teach our students. We utilize a range of technology tools to personalize each student’s learning experience, including getting connected to Wi-Fi for seamless access to educational resources.
Off-Site Activities
Keep updated on field-trips and other exciting off-site activities throughout the year. We're excited to expand on learning opportunities by stepping outside of the classroom.
