Terry Fox Assembly & Run

Our Terry Fox Assembly and Run is on this Friday, September 13 starting with a whole school assembly at 9:30 and students should be running on our field at or just before 10:00 AM.

Terry’s goal was $1 for each Canadian, ours will be “Twoonies for Terry” ($2 per student) collected through the week with a school-wide goal of $500 to donate in support of cancer research. Thank you for your support in the fight against cancer and showing your no quit attitude in honour of Terry Fox! Last year we raised $350. Parents are welcome to attend the assembly and run. Our classes will be learning about Terry Fox and his legacy this week. If you would also like to teach your child a little about Terry Fox before Friday, you can check out the Kids’ Corner at the Terry Fox website

Web Calendar Available for Download

Our school calendar with major events went home with our opening package last week. It has been created in our online calendar on our school website. The online calendar is accurate upto December 31, 2024 and will continue to be updated over the next week. You may subscribe to this online calendar where dates and events may be updated.

Parents and students can now subscribe to the school calendar with the option to choose all categories or a specific one, giving them access to events anytime. On the Calendar page, scroll down to the bottom left to find the link to subscribe to the school calendar on Mac, Android and desktop devices.
