Winter Concert & Food Bank

Our students did an amazing job in our winter concert! Again, we want to thank all of the parent volunteers in the background who helped decorate the gym and arranged costumes for the students. A special shout out to the Dennis family for video recording the performance for us. We have posted the video on our private YouTube channel for viewing.

We will still have the Food Bank boxes in our front entrance if anyone wants to donate non-perishables when we return.

From all of the staff here at the school, we wish everyone a safe and fun holiday break. See you in the New Year!

Bottle Thrive Bottle Drive Donations

Over the holidays is a great time to collect refundables for donations. We are able to purchase grocery gift cards with donated funds to help families in need at our sister school, James Short Memorial.

  • Bottle donations are collected from your door throughout the school year and the dollars raised will be distributed to families by way of Superstore gift cards.
  • You can schedule your bottle pick-ups by using the Skip-The-Depot app and connecting to our Elbow Park Parent Society in the list of donors.

Digital Citizenship – Online Safety

Our students are beginning to learn about online safety with our learning outcome being that learners will demonstrate respectful and inclusive behaviour while using digital tools. Students are using a variety of age-appropriate resources either guided by the homeroom teacher or with instruction and individual time using the provided resources.

Parents may view and access the resources on our Digital Citizenship Plan that is available in the “Related Information” section on our Digital Citizenship webpage.
